CHU Kar-Kui had extreme interest in arts and painting since he was very young. He learnt everything about arts and painting by self-study. Arts and painting seems to be his second nature. Throughout his 25 years of career in painting, his artworks mainly distribute among churches, museums and educational institutes. He is a member of the Hong Kong Society for Education in Art and the Hong Kong Artist Association of Visual Arts (Tsuen Wan).
