Biography

CHU Kar Kui (Gary) was born in Hong Kong in 1960. He had extreme interest in arts and painting since he was very young. He learnt everything about arts and painting by self-study. Arts and painting seems to be His second nature.

Throughout His 25 years of career in painting, His artworks mainly distribute among churches and chapels of Rome, Brussels, Spain, Australia, U.S.A., Mexico, Chile, Uruguay, Philippine, Singapore, Japan, Thailand, China, Hong Kong and Macao.

His artworks spread over various media including oil on canvas, acrylic on walls, watercolor on papers, etc. He is also a member of the Hong Kong Society for Education in Art and the Hong Kong Artist Association of Visual Arts. He believe his artworks customized to any client's design projects can make it outstanding.

In 1998, he participated in the "Works of Hong Kong Art Teacher" exhibition, jointly organized by the Hong Kong Society for Education in Art and the University Museum and Art Gallery, the University of Hong Kong.

In 1999, he took part in the "Charity Auction of Artwork" organized by the Matilda Child Development Center.

In 2002, he also took part in the “ Work, World, Creativity” exhibition in Madrid, Spain.

In 2003, he joint the exhibition in the “Artworks by Hong Kong Teachers 2003” in the Hong Kong Central Library.

In 2004, he participated in the “Asian Art Palette 2004 in Tokyo” exhibition in Japan.

In 2005, he joint the Niigata - Hong Kong Cultural Exchange 10th Anniversary Art Show in Hong Kong.
